IRS Free File Fillable Forms

The Internal Revenue Service Free File Fillable Forms is a service where you can fill out the most tax forms that you’re required to file your federal income tax return.

Pretty much any tax form that you need to file with the IRS can be done for free through the Free File Fillable Forms. However, not all forms are available. You can’t also open up the Free File Fillable Forms whenever you need to file a tax form.

The service is only available between certain periods of time during the calendar year. Generally, the Free File Fillable Forms is open starting from the tax season to October 15 (the last day to file taxes for those who extended the April 15 deadline).

The deadline to file each and every tax form is different but generally, the information returns are due by January 31st to file with recipient and February 28th to file with the IRS.
